Hello, I just read the article on savasana/corpse pose. After a few years of not practicing yoga I have finally found my way back to the Iyengar techinique- which I have found more rewarding than any other style of yoga. My question is that sometimes in savasana out of the blue I start crying! I am not in an emotional state- it is as though a wave has crashed over me. What the heck is that all about? Many thanks, L.

Shyam, what do you mean 'about his nature'(BKS Iyengar). I have often wondered how funds generated by his method are used. I truly think gods work involves charity and someone in such a fortunate position ought to use it for the betterment of mankind. I am also of the same conviction which you elucidate in regards to what yoga is. I much enjoy the way in which Sri Auribindo talks about yoga in the Synthesis of Yoga.
