puranas, stories + yoga	Can't Post

in 'The Tree of Yoga', the chapter on Pranayama, (p112), a story from the Puranas is recounted and then a yogic interpretation is applied (the churning of the ocean and the in and out breath)
i would like to read more analogies like this - any recommendations?

I am not sure if this is the sort of thing you had in mind, but in the book Yoga for Children by Swati and Rajiv Chanchani they give a lot of stories and relate them to various asanas.

Search for (options)
