I posted rather lengthily where you had this same message in another thread. Briefly, I recommend looking at www.hystersisters.com to learn about different women's experiences with gynecological surgery. It's not from a yoga perspective, and it's more aimed at women facing hysterectomy -- but it gives a lot of info. Maybe I'm a loose cannon here -- this being an Iyengar site, and if the Big Guy says "no yoga for two months" maybe that's the bottom line. But I think if you have already been practicing a lot, and know your body well, there's no reason you can't try gentle, supported and restorative poses. Wallking is the one exercise that seems to be approved by all after gynecological surgery.
