prostatis Can't Post

I have been diagnosed with prostatis and put on doxycycline for 4 weeks.... I used to have problems 4 years ago adn now it seems that it flares up again....also getting back pain and testicle discomfort due to inflamation of prostate.

Any suggestion as to how to improve my situation? maybe some teas or exercises?

Thanks a lot

Re: prostatis [In reply to] Can't Post

There's another thread that has some practical advice.

http://iyengar-yoga.com/...Prostate_Gland_P260/

I posted a message there almost 2 years ago about the importance of squatting for bowel movements. I recently learned that a highly acclaimed book about prostatitis, "A Headache in the Pelvis" has come out with the same recommendation.

The book provides information about the Stanford Protocol, a new treatment for prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain syndromes that has been developed at Stanford University Medical Center in the Department of Urology over the past ten years.

The site http://pelvicpainhelp.com/ talks about the book and about the Protocol.

Good luck!
