hello, redmonster you should stop to train alone , even if you have just one lesson every month, you should follow a (good) teacher , and repeat at home what you learned with him. feelings of what is welldone or not in yoga is very difficult; people who have 20 years of yoga practice still have yoga lessons to avoid mistakes and progress the best (and safest ) way possible. yoga can be dangerous if not practiced the proper way. you are like a brick? well, it is a chance! because you will have a strong feeling of improvement as time goes on with your practice remember : safety first, and the only safe way to practice yoga is to follow a teacher, who will see you and give you personnal advices on the way you must practice, not a book or a video take care pascal
