Rope sirsasana Can't Post

I've got a rope wall with 2 separate ropes. How can I combine them to do rope sirsasana (hanging like a bat)? With an additional rope or a belt? Any ideas?

How many blankets are usually used to pad the rope? I find it quite uncomfortable with 2 blankets.

Hi rita,

To perform sirsasana with ropes tie the two ropes together with a shorter rope. Then wrap a half fold blanket around your waist and secure with a belt . Place the loop of the rope just above your buttocks, while holding both ropes in your hands climb your feet up the wall going almost into dandasana. Bend the knees and go into Baddha konasana and slowly lower the body upside down. So the ropes should wrap around your buttocks and be on top of your inner thighs. Take the arms over the head. Reverse procedure to come up.

Happy hanging
