Welcome.

Find a good yoga teacher in your area. Never do thngs with books/videos/dvds until you are clear about what is yoga.

There are so many styles. If you are not sure, attend each one of them and find out what you think is comfortable for you.

Enjoy.

14 is a great time to start yoga. I started at 18 and wish I'd started much sooner.

A good place to start is with the "Yoga for Beginners" page on my site
http://www.yogabasics.com/...yogaForBeginner.html where you will find recommendations for books, videos, cds, yoga mats and props.

It is always best to start with taking a class from a teacher, but this isn't always practical. There are many famous yoga teachers who started practicing yoga from books.

Namaste,
Timothy
