I have two questions. I have recently started learning yoga from the book Yoga (Paperback) by Mira Mehta, Shyam Mehta. I use the lessons at the back and have worked my way to 3 rd lesson in last couple of months. I have surprised myself because a lot of times I am able to do poses very close to the ones shown in the book. Basically I am enjoying the whole experience very much. My first Q is even after 3 months since I have started doing yoga I feel the whole body very stiff. Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? Should I include some kind of warm up like surya namaskar before I start my lessons? My second Q is is there any thing recommended for carpal tunnel (special asanas?). I have soreness in fingers and wrists because my job involves lot of typing and mouse use. Thanks for all responses.
